JOB TITLE: Production Coordinator NUMBER AND TITLES OF DIRECT REPORTS: N/A PAY : 32.95 GENERAL SUMMARY: The Production Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the daily activities and setting up equipment in processing and packaging. Assist employees with issues and define whether the gaps are machine or people/training related. Provides recommendations for production runs. Responsible for maintaining product quality standards as set by the QA department. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Coordinates the production floor schedule with supervisor and/or production scheduler daily and crew appropriately to estimate run times and inform supervisor of all production issues. COMPLEXITY AND SCOPE: Must be able to comply with the physical demands of constantly lifting and moving stock by hand or with manual equipment. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. on a regular basis, and occasionally be able to lift/move more than 100+ lbs. High School Diploma or GED; WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to hot and/or wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
