Training Coordinator

Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan (LSS)

Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin & Upper Michigan (LSS) is seeking a Training Coordinator to support organization-wide training and development efforts. This role plays a key part in onboarding, professional development, and compliance training across multiple programs-helping LSS foster a strong workplace culture and high-quality services.


What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate and schedule training activities, including new employee orientation, onboarding, and ongoing professional development
  • Facilitate in-person and virtual trainings using adult learning principles
  • Maintain and update training materials to meet program needs and compliance requirements
  • Support and manage training systems, including the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Track, monitor, and report training completion and evaluation data
  • Collaborate with program leaders and stakeholders to develop training content and systems
  • Maintain the LSS Connect Training Page (SharePoint) and related resources


What We're Looking For:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field preferred
  • Experience in human services, training, or organizational development preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
  • Experience with blended learning (virtual, in-person, recorded) and training material development
  • Ability to work across multiple technology platforms (e.g., LMS, SharePoint, e-learning tools)
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 20% (primarily day trips)
