Position Description:
This position is for an experienced Diagnostics Engineer responsible for the development of troubleshooting support documentation for Abrams and other tracked vehicles with "Abrams style" diagnostics systems. This may include:
1. Interfacing with hardware and software design engineers to understand the functionality of equipment.
2. Conducting detailed tasks analysis as part of the Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) process to identify resources required to fault isolate/troubleshoot and support the design.
3. Translating engineering & other technical information into troubleshooting source data(procedures and schematics) in support of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) product development.
4. Performing on-vehicle fault insertion to verify that equipment and troubleshooting procedures function properly.

Position Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering required. Other Degrees will be considered based on experience.
2. Ability to read and interpret schematics and hardware/software specifications.
3. Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access required; Visio preferred).
4. Experience in fault isolation and/or troubleshooting of complex systems (including automotive or military preferred).
5. Experience with wiring diagram and schematic development preferred.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication (oral and written skills) desired.
7. Familiarity with US Army logistics support structure, policies and procedures preferred.
8. Experience with Abrams and "Abrams style" vehicle on-board diagnostic systems and mythology for developing "follow on" troubleshooting procedures.
