Cybersecurity Engineer

American Communications Solutions and By Light Professional IT Services, together as Full Spectrum Operations (FSO) are hiring dedicated and talented IT professionals under the Eastern Western Operational Communications Services (EWOCS) contract. EWOCS provides reliable high-quality communications and innovative IT solutions for the Guardians, Airmen, and Government agencies assigned to Patrick Space Force Base, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, and Vandenberg Air Force Base. Implements, audits, and refines both policy-level and technical-level cybersecurity controls, including but not limited to those specified in NIST SP 800.53.
• Implements NIST SP 800.37, maintains existing favorable accreditation.
• Generates and maintains physical/logical system architecture drawings and information flow drawings.
• Generates and maintains system hardware and software lists.
• Reviews system documentation and recommends and implements improvements.
• Performs system security audits frequently and works with the senior systems engineers to mitigate and remediate system vulnerabilities.
• Participates in incident response as appropriate.
• Provides expertise on overall system design from a security perspective.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (5/7 years)
• Must meet DoD 8570 IAT II requirements
• Experience with implementation, auditing and refining controls specified in NIST SP 800.53
• 2-5 years of experience performing system security audits

• Active Secret Clearance
