SUMMARY: The Process Analyst maintains assigned applications within the Commercial, Consumer and Residential Servicing areas of the Loan Operations Department. This position also analyzes job processes and proposes recommendations for improvements, while also documenting the processes and procedures.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: North Shore Bank's Position Descriptions are intended to describe only the major functions of the job. Everyone is expected to contribute whatever efforts necessary to operate efficiently and effectively to ensure the success of the Bank.



Provides system administration for Aspire (LTI) Decision Pro, DDI, Simplifile, JPM Chase ACH, Core-Logic (and any other systems as they may change from time to time) This includes activities such as creating and using test scripts for system upgrades/changes/etc.



Works with funders on individual deals to make reserve adjustments as needed and ensures dealer reserves calculate correctly.



Conducts lease servicing responsibilities, including booking, renewing, billing, balancing, month end reporting, terminating, tax rate updates, and income and depreciation tracking; posting loan and lease account entries including charge-offs, terminations, buyouts; collateral tracking, account file maintenance, payment posting/adjustments, and balancing teller and branch totals.



Administers credit life and disability programs including rate changes, posting and refunding of payments, reporting, remittance, and reconciliation.



Completes daily balancing and monthly reconciliations for both DDA accounts and GL's.



Accurately prepares payment vouchers for numerous vendors and verifies accuracy before submission.



Provides business unit data expertise to other areas of the bank.



Conducts basic end user training as necessary for assigned applications/processes and creates and maintains user manuals (technical and end user).



Serves as a resource for all projects, such as report writing, data extraction and testing of new systems and applications for all systems used by Loan Operations.



Collaborates with the IS department to assist with application development and workflow analysis, as well as troubleshooting application issues as needed.



Serves as a liaison between dealers and Loan Operations staff.



Interacts on a regular basis with all end users to determine and maintain a high level of satisfaction.



Completes sales licensures and renewals for all states for Indirect Lending business.



Assists with planning for backup and recovery of database information as designated.



Performs lease accounting functions, ensuring the lease portfolio is in balance.



Coordinates with the underwriting area to ensure correct usage and timing of YAFI (You Asked For It program) approvals for appropriate reserve and pricing.



Verifies the JPMorgan Chase reports for indirect funding to dealerships are accurate to ensure ACH fundings are timely and accurate.



Ensures interfaces for Decision Pro, Aspire and Fiserv are correct and perform adjustments as needed.



Performs certain back-up responsibilities for system parameter changes and rate changes in systems for commercial, consumer and mortgage areas.



Updates rate sheets for internal and shared marketing purposes on the NSB website and Ask Seymour.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


High school diploma or its equivalent is required. An associate degree from an accredited college or university is strongly preferred. Requires approximately five years of prior experience in bank operations roles, with knowledge and experience in loan and lease operations. Microsoft Office365 proficiency is required. Knowledge of SSRS and Crystal software or similar report writing software required. Knowledge in Fiserv Vision, Aspire, DecisionPro and IVUE helpful.



OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:


This position requires the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities, along with effective interpersonal skills to work with end users as well as upper management. Effective project management skills including planning, task analysis, testing and goal setting are needed, including general experience within Information Technology.
