The Opportunity

We are looking for a strategic product marketing executive to lead Adobe's core professional design products. This leader will own the business strategy for our flagship pro design products in collaboration with cross-functional partners. The ideal candidate has experience launching agentic technologies, understands design deeply, thrives in collaboration, and can effectively influence across a matrixed environment. What You'll Do

  • Lead AI Innovation: Define and drive the go-to-market strategy for innovative AI and Agentic products, positioning Adobe at the forefront of the next generation of creative tooling, and setting the standard for how AI transforms the design industry.

  • Own the Portfolio: Drive the end-to-end GTM strategy and business success for Adobe's flagship Pro Design products - Illustrator and InDesign

  • Set the Strategy: Lead the annual and 3-year planning process, defining the growth approach, business plan, and GTM vision needed to win, including TAM analysis, market share targets, competitive positioning, and pricing & packaging.

  • Know the Market: Be well informed on the pro design landscape synthesizing market trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to inform strategy and stay ahead of industry shifts.

  • Build & Lead a World-Class Team: Recruit, develop, and inspire a high-performing team of product marketing leaders who are deeply embedded in the pro design community and category.

  • Drive Cross-Functional Execution: Align and mobilize cross-functional teams to flawlessly complete the GTM strategy, defining clear success metrics and holding the bar on performance.

  • Expand the Ecosystem: Develop distribution strategies and partnerships that extend Adobe's reach and deepen its presence across the pro design ecosystem.

  • Champion Change: Serve as a strategic change agent, bringing clarity, momentum, and bold thinking to teams navigating a rapidly evolving technology landscape.

What Makes You Successful

  • General Manager Orientation: 10+ years of senior product marketing experience, with a proven track record of operating at the GM level and owning strategy, business outcomes, and a high-performing team. Deep familiarity with the professional design community is a strong plus.

  • AI-Native Approach: Hands-on experience launching and scaling agentic and/or generative AI products, with a sharp point of view on where AI is taking the creative industry.

  • Product Marketing Depth: A true partner to product; you've shaped roadmaps and aren't afraid to push back when the direction or strategy isn't right. Deeply customer-obsessed, you bring the voice of the customer into every strategic decision and use those insights to sharpen both the product and the GTM.

  • GTM at Scale: Proven track record leading major launches, packaging shifts, and repositioning efforts while connecting the marketing motion directly to business metrics and growth outcomes.You own business benchmarks and use data to drive decisions, measure impact, and continuously "improve".

  • Cross-Functional Authority: Demonstrated ability to drive alignment and shape decisions across product, engineering, corporate marketing, and regional leadership in complex, matrixed global organizations where you lead through influence as much as authority.

  • Executive Presence: A compelling communicator and storyteller who can inspire a team, and represent the brand externally with credibility and conviction.

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $170,000 -- $320,000 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $221,000 - $320,000

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
