Aon is looking for a Carolinas Market Leader, which consists of three offices - Charlotte, Raleigh, and Winston-Salem. As part of an industry-leading team, the Carolinas Market Leader will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions across the Carolinas market. Our strong preference is for this role to be Charlotte based, as Charlotte is a major component of the market and will require a corresponding level of attention and presence.

Reporting to the South Region Leader, this role oversees all strategic and tactical operations of the Carolinas market and holds responsibility for leading and driving strategic growth plans across all solution lines. The Market Leader manages the Carolinas portfolio of clients, champions a positive colleague experience, drives and supports revenue growth, and maintains accountability for overall market results. The Market Leader models a "one-firm" mentality in all situations.

This individual is also accountable for implementing business strategies, developing and achieving sales goals, driving and communicating financial goals, and ensuring operational excellence. What the day will look like

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Leads, personally participates in, and is responsible for all Carolinas market business activities, facilitating growth across all solution lines to achieve regional objectives.
  • Serves as a point of integration and ensures colleagues deliver on client service activities.
  • Carries out statutory and regulatory compliance where applicable.
  • Collaborates with Carolinas leadership to develop and drive cross-solution line business plans to include client retention, business growth, colleague engagement, and community engagement and service.
  • Communicates overall vision with office solution line leadership, client leaders, sales and growth operations, to deliver on office objectives
  • Leads all aspects of people-related activities including recruitment, training, engagement, performance, succession planning and employee relations as appropriate.
  • Responsible for client stewardship and executive client contact.
  • Highly engaged in the Carolinas market and serves as the face of Aon externally.
  • Promotes Aon's visibility and business networking within the community by encouraging staff participation in local organizations and representing Aon in professional and business associations
  • Responsible for role-modeling and encouraging a positive, diverse and inclusive colleague experience

Regulatory Requirements:

Holds all regulatory licenses, permissions and technical or other requirements applicable under local legislation

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Pay Transparency Laws:

Thesalary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $325,000 to $350,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate Aon's annual incentive plans in addition to base salary. The amount of any incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
