The EHR Implementation Consultant plays a critical role in delivering high-quality client solutions, with a focus on driving measurable value and impact. This position supports both client engagements and internal initiatives, contributing to the continued growth and success of the organization. In this role, the consultant collaborates closely with cross-functional teams and clients to ensure the timely delivery of services and project deliverables within defined scope and budget. Leveraging experience with Cerner, the consultant partners with project teams and internal departments to maintain project momentum, uphold quality standards, and meet contractual requirements. The EHR Implementation Consultant also serves as a subject matter expert in assigned areas, providing guidance on system enhancements, change recommendations, and governance processes. Additionally, this role leads testing and training activities to support best practices and optimize the use of current and future EHR capabilities.

The EHR Implementation Consultant works collaboratively in fast-paced, deadline driven environments. They also apply strong analytical and communication skills to support internal Edera operations. Ideal candidates are curious learning seekers with a can-do attitude. They are innovative, driven, and highly flexible in supporting our dynamic organization. They will proactively support end-users and provide real-time instruction, leading the end-user to competence. They must be agile and comfortable presenting while working in a fast-paced environment. They must enjoy contributing creatively toward process improvement. EHR Implementation Consultants are expected to deliver extremely high knowledge content to end-users while creating exceptional user experience.

Type of Employment: Contract or 1099 depending on project needs
Work Location/Travel: 50- 75% travel, with more travel occurring during peak events, need to be able to travel without restrictions
Salary Range: Base Salary is dependent upon experience and location. Competitive salary/pay, potential for bonuses. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, but not limited to relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certification as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to that position. The pay range for this position is highly competitive but dependent upon employment type (1099, contract, W2).

Responsibilities:
* Support implementation and optimization of Electronic Health Record (EHR) workflows within clinical environments
* Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to ensure successful deployment and adoption
* Participate in project meetings, status updates, and assigned work activities
* Deliver end-user training, workflow guidance, and at-the-elbow support as needed
* Assist with troubleshooting EHR issues and escalating system concerns appropriately
* Support change management activities, including communication and end-user readiness
* Maintain accountability for assigned tasks, timelines, and deliverables
* Document workflows, training materials, and support guides as required
* Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide clear, concise updates
* Perform other project-related duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills Required:
* Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks with minimal supervision
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues and recommend practical solutions
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including comfort with presenting and end-user interaction
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with clinical and operational teams

Education/Certification Required:
* 4+ year BA/BS in associated field

Experience Required:
* 2+ years directly supporting Cerner Electronic Health Record Implementations in multiple application areas (see assessment)

Technical Skills Required:
* Strong proficiency with MS Office 365 skills to include MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint
* Proficient in Cerner reporting

Desirable (Not Required) Skills/Experience:
* Experience supporting federal healthcare clients/organizations
* Project Management Experience
* Change Management Experience
* Knowledge Management/Learning Experience
* Active PIV/CAC Card
* EPIC certification
* Meditech experience
