Job Title: Call Center Representative (Healthcare) Job Description The Call Center Representative is responsible for providing high-quality customer service to patients through inbound phone support. This role assists patients with questions related to care coordination, insurance authorizations, and appointment scheduling. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare call center environment. Key Responsibilities * Answer inbound patient calls in a professional, courteous, and timely manner * Assist patients with inquiries regarding healthcare services, referrals, and authorizations * Schedule appointments and coordinate care as needed * Verify patient information and insurance eligibility * Accurately document calls and patient interactions in systems * Follow established call center, customer service, and compliance guidelines * Escalate issues appropriately to ensure timely resolution and patient satisfaction Required Skills & Qualifications * Strong customer service and communication skills * Experience in a call center or customer support environment * Ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining professionalism * Service-oriented mindset with a focus on patient experience * Basic computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems Preferred Qualifications * Healthcare or medical office experience * Knowledge of HMO insurance plans * Experience with insurance verification and patient services Experience Level * Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burbank, CA.
