Supports supply chain operations across the Medical Center by coordinating product evaluations, assisting with product substitutions, and serving as a resource for supply chain logistics and clinical supply processes. Helps administer institutional policies related to the reprocessing of single-use and reusable medical devices while collaborating with clinical and operational teams to support efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality patient care operations.
The Supply Chain Specialist provides operational and administrative support for supply chain initiatives across clinical and operational service lines. This role partners with internal stakeholders to assist with product evaluations, supply standardization efforts, inventory-related concerns, and value management initiatives to ensure continuity of care and operational efficiency. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Graduate or equivalent required. Associate's Degree preferred Experience: 3 years relevant experience Licensure: None required PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires sitting for prolonged periods, frequently traveling; Repetitive motion: (computer tasks). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull less than 20lbs. May be exposed to outdoor climate.
