What to Expect
The Senior Production Operations Controller plays a critical role in overseeing and optimizing production operations within the Semi Manufacturing environment. This role is directly tied to production, where the individual will maintain shop-wise schedules and lead a team of controllers across each production line. This position requires strong operational knowledge and deep expertise in inventory analysis, transaction audits, and process management to ensure seamless execution across the value stream. The individual will monitor production trends to identify limiters, risks, and inefficiencies, deploying appropriate resources and initiating bridge calls to resolve issues promptly. On a daily basis, they will monitor inventory levels, coordinate efforts to close blind spots, and maintain accuracy through rigorous audits and process improvements. Additionally, the Senior Production Controller will take charge of communicating Clear-to-Build scenarios, enabling informed decision-making and aligning cross-functional teams to meet production targets, sustain efficiency, and drive continuous improvements in throughput and quality.

What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with equipment, process, systems engineering, data analytics, manufacturing, and quality teams to streamline information flow, resolve production issues, and implement corrective actions that eliminate risks and improve manufacturability, while building expertise in production control processes including inventory management, transaction auditing, and operational workflows
  • Monitor production trends across the entire Semi operation to proactively identify limiters, risks, and bottlenecks, using data-driven analysis to deploy the right resources and initiate bridge calls for rapid issue resolution
  • Conduct daily inventory monitoring and accuracy assessments, coordinating cross-factory material movements and taking ownership of inventory levels in-house, at source, and in transit. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify and close blind spots in data, processes, or systems
  • Perform transaction audits to ensure compliance, traceability, and integrity of inventory movements within ERP systems and production planning tools. Root cause any data discrepancies and quickly deploy appropriate resources to close out issues
  • Ensure project-specific budget allocation of planned hours and capture data for any overages. Collaborate with planners, cost controllers, and process engineers to verify the accuracy of all actuals and conduct data audits with physical validation
  • Communicate Clear-to-Build scenarios across the value stream, synthesizing real-time data from production, quality, and supply chain teams to provide actionable insights that support demand fulfillment, sequencing, and execution efficiency
  • Develop, document, and maintain production control instructions, routings, and procedures, including rework guidelines for inventory discrepancies or process deviations

What You'll Bring
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Data Analytics, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 5-10 years of hands-on experience working on high-volume manufacturing lines, with a focus on fast-paced production environments
  • Demonstrated track record of resolving complex issues on fast-paced production lines, showcasing expertise in troubleshooting and implementing effective solutions
  • Strong capability to perform effectively in high-stakes situations, maintaining composure and decision-making skills under pressure
  • Expertise in optimizing manufacturing processes and driving operational efficiency in dynamic and evolving settings
  • Preference for an Engineering or Science degree (or equivalent certification/coursework) to support technical depth in manufacturing operations
  • In-depth knowledge of ERP systems; strong problem-solving abilities; familiarity with lean manufacturing principles; experience in data-driven workflow troubleshooting; relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma, SQL/Python) as a plus; and excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration in high-stakes environments
