The Account Manager - Distribution is responsible for promoting and selling Infor products by nurturing and developing opportunities to net new clients. The Account Manager will be responsible for achieving both company and personal quotas. Responsibilities include developing marketing plans that generate and provide leads, managing assigned accounts, and understanding customers' business issues and design strategies.

Territory: US and Canada

A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
  • Work closely with existing clients to understand their business objectives and create appropriate solutions to meet their business needs.
  • Articulate the Infor value proposition and successfully communicate the value, competitive advantages, resources and processes to clients.
  • Challenge your clients to think differently by developing compelling value propositions based on value and ROI cost/benefit analysis.
  • Develop customer account strategies and tactical penetration plans and establish, document, and maintain solid communication and follow-up procedures for all assigned accounts.
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale.
  • Generate pipeline and achieve or exceed consistent quarterly quota.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience selling into the Machinery and Equipment industry.
  • Experience establishing and managing executive level customer relationships across an organization.
  • Experience managing net-new sales cycles simultaneously.
  • Experience developing business relationships with extended team members to drive sales.
  • Experience working in a quota driven role.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience working within the Machinery and Equipment industry.
  • Experience working in a matrix-management environment and collaborating with extended team members.
  • Relationships within the System Integration (SI) community and partner eco-system.
