Material Handler in Huron, OH

Starting pay: $ 18.48 per hour + $1.00 shift differential

Shift (3rd shift): Monday- Friday, 11 pm-7 am- with occasional over-time required during peak season.

Will train on 1st shift for the first few weeks.

Full -Time Benefits ( INCLUDING 3 WEEKS PTO) and Bi-Weekly pay.

A Material Handler at The Pittsburgh Paints Company receives, ships and handles raw materials, packaging and finished goods as it enters or leaves the site. Key Responsibilities May Include

• Following all safety rules, processes and procedures.

• Receiving and handling raw materials needed for production.

• Loading and unloading trailers, following dock safety procedures.

• Operating robotic palletizers, stretch wrappers, conveyors.

• Maintaining clean and orderly work areas.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Experience operating material handling equitment in a manufacturing environment preferred.

• Follow detailed instructions and record progress.

• Operate material handling equipment, hoists and other equipment.

• Work in a team environment and take ownership over assigned area of responsibility.
