Description
Acara Solutions is seeking a Transformer Service Technician for our client in Charlotte NC 28273. This is a full-time direct hire opportunity supporting transformer field service operations within the utility and electrical energy industry.
The ideal candidate will be hands-on, mechanically inclined, and comfortable supporting field service activities, equipment preparation, testing, and site operations in a travel-intensive environment.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Travel up to 85%
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in transformer field service within the utility or electrical energy industry
  • Transformer testing experience
  • Experience hauling trailers
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Class A endorsement
  • Experience supporting field operations, logistics, or equipment preparation
  • Mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to work independently and in team-based environments
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work outdoors and in varying environmental conditions
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
