Post-Production Media and Data Manager (Level 3)

Hybrid | 9-Month Contract | Culver City, CA

Pay Rate: $67.16/hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented Post-Production Media and Data Manager to support a high-volume entertainment marketing post-production team. This role is responsible for coordinating the distribution, tracking, and management of source materials and finished marketing assets used in the production of trailers, TV spots, and promotional content.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced post-production environment, is highly organized and proactive, and brings strong experience working with digital media workflows, asset management systems, and cross-functional production teams.


Responsibilities

  • Identify available audio/video source materials, facilitate distribution, and track deliveries to creative and finishing vendors for editorial and final production workflows
  • Source and manage information related to titles, versions, deliverables, and scheduling
  • Create and manage Media Orders outlining deliverables for finishing vendors and post-production supervisors
  • Communicate delivery expectations to internal operations teams including Marketing Services, Distribution, and Asset Management
  • Ensure metadata accuracy and update Media Orders as needed
  • Partner with Marketing Operations teams to provide preview links for key marketing assets to internal stakeholders
  • Source finished marketing assets for internal teams and external creative partners
  • Pull and distribute archived assets from Box for vendor reference and archival purposes
  • Manage requests to digital content suppliers and help prioritize deliveries to ensure vendors receive current editorial cuts and approved materials
  • Use asset management systems to determine content availability and communicate updates to creative and post-production teams
  • Track and log requests, deliveries, and fulfillment details within internal databases
  • Troubleshoot delivery issues including missing, corrupt, or incorrect files
  • Coordinate vendor onboarding and ensure content security clearances are in place for pre-release asset access
  • Support campaign tracking, workorder creation, metadata updates, and asset ID management
  • Provide general operational support to the Post team including Airtable migration preparation, meeting notes, metrics tracking, Box folder management, and special projects

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience working with digital media in a post-production environment, preferably within entertainment marketing, a studio, creative agency, or post-production vendor
  • Strong understanding of film and television production and post-production workflows
  • 3+ years of experience using Digital Asset Management (DAM), Media Asset Management (MAM), or Production Asset Management (PAM) systems
  • Experience creating work orders and tracking, fulfilling, and delivering asset requests
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Experience working with spreadsheets and databases
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Xytech order management preferred
  • Airtable experience preferred
