The Department of Food, Agricultural, and Resource Economics (
FARE) in the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences (
SEBS) at Rutgers in New Brunswick, seeks a Lecturer to teach courses for the Environmental and Business Economics undergrad major and the Food and Business Economics master's program.
FARE is committed to building an excellent and diverse faculty, staff, and student body, and invites applications from candidates whose experience has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to academic excellence and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusiveness. The selected candidate is expected to teach Introductory courses in Accounting, Economics, Statistics, and Econometrics, and intermediate-level courses in Economics and Finance. Teaching Lower- and Upper-level Elective courses and/or graduate courses is also possible. The successful candidate will begin teaching in the Fall 2026 semester and may be invited to continue teaching in Spring 2027. The successful candidate will have all primary teaching responsibilities, grading papers and exams, reviewing online discussion boards, maintaining communication with the students, and participating in planning meetings with the other instructors. |
