Job Description

This position is for an Engineering Internship for a student interested in a future career in the Semiconductor Manufacturing process. You will work with a dedicated team of engineers, contributing to the Mask making process. As an intern, you will be exposed to the tools and workflow used to take customer data and process it to generate Masks used in the semiconductor manufacturing process. Tasks include close communication with others in the MaskCAD team, use of EDA software used for the validation of data, confirming that the data is free of errors.

This Job Is For You If

• You can be responsible for final Inspection and quality verification prior to reticle data shipment for manufacturing.
• You can accept or reject tapeouts.
• You can ensure customer data security.
• You can be responsible for DRC & Density verification of all gds databases submitted by customers.
• You can ensure tapeout & customer waiver form is complete and correct.
• You can be responsible for mask data processing, including layergen, OPC, reticle floor planning, scribe frame builds and MEBES data fracture.
• You will have exposure to and training provided for industry standard circuit design tools: Cadence K2 and Virtuoso, Synopsys CATS, Mentor Calibre.

Job Requirements

Compensation: $24.57/hour - $26.00/hour
