The University of Virginia School of Architecture seeks qualified applicants to fill a Faculty Wage Instructor Assistant position to assist with the Summer Design Institute (SDI) courses in Summer 2026. The SDI has been developed to give incoming students the methods, theories, and techniques to be successful in design studios, for landscape architects, architects, and urban planners. Duties and responsibilities will be determined by Jeana Ripple, Chair of the Department of Architecture and will include: Primary responsibilities:

This is a part-time, tenure-ineligible position which does not carry benefits.
