Financial Analyst III

Intake Notes

• Must have a degree in a finance-related field
• Must have at least 5 years of experience in Budgeting, Forecasting, and using applicable tools
• Highly desirable to have experience in Manufacturing or R&D
• Experience with SAP (Finance Module) and Oracle EPM (Financial/Corp Planning), Advanced Excel, & Workday
• Local to Albany, expectation is M-F onsite while in training

Responsibilities:

• Develops, interprets, and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control
• Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance
• Gathers, analyzes, prepares, and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts
• Performs economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance, and impact of governmental requirements

Qualifications:

• BS in Accounting
• 5 years finance/accounting experience in an R&D and/or manufacturing environment
• Extreme proficiency in Excel
