Production Administrator

Responsible for processing orders which would include checking that orders include the correct prices, terms, and other data required to accurately enter each into the company's ERP system. Work within each customer's ERP system to ensure PO's are properly acknowledged, updated and closed out as applicable. Maintain records of problematic PO's or issues in need of attention that may be impacting our ability to successfully process an order. Maintain record of customer quotation data. Input data into ERP to process new requests for quotations. Support the production/logistics teams by creating and distributing router packages and other documentation required for production and logistics processes. Communicate with suppliers as needed to obtain information/data to support various processes across functions. Communicate with freight carriers to coordinate shipments as needed. Jobresponsibilities may be added and/or modified as customer/internal requirements evolve. The Production Administrator must be flexible and willing to accommodate evolving expectations.

Associate's degree preferred, strong clerical / administrative skills are required. Sales /production administration support experience a plus. Manufacturing company experience a plus. Must be flexible and willing to adapt to change. Must be a team player as the responsibilities and priorities of this position shift as our customer/internal production demands shift. Good organizational skills to coordinate all aspects of sales administration are required. Must be able to work accurately with great attention to detail so that orders are processed quickly and efficiently. Must be a good communicator that works well with other departments that are responsible for fulfilling orders or providing service to customers.
