Description and Requirements

Position Description

The Chief of Staff will support and report to the Executive Director, SSG Strategy & Planning, within the Services and Solutions Group (SSG). This role requires a dynamic, highly organized leader who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, strategic environment and driving alignment across complex business priorities.

The Chief of Staff will serve as a strategic partner to the leadership team, enabling effective communication, governance, and execution across strategic initiatives, M&A activities, and operational priorities.

From day one, the Chief of Staff will play a key role in enhancing leadership effectiveness and driving business outcomes. This includes coordinating across Strategy, M&A, and Operations leaders, supporting executive decision-making, and ensuring alignment on priorities across a global, matrixed organization.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in strategy, M&A, or operations, with the ability to synthesize complex information, develop executive-level materials, and drive clarity and execution across initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate leadership activities, including executive reviews, strategy sessions, and operating cadences
  • Partner with leadership to drive, monitor, and communicate progress against key strategic initiatives, M&A activities, and operational priorities
  • Develop high-quality executive presentations and supporting materials
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across Strategy, M&A, Operations, and extended leadership teams
  • Anticipate and identify strategic risks, dependencies, or challenges, and drive proactive resolution
  • Support business strategy development, including analysis, synthesis, and recommendations
  • Provide oversight and coordination for transformation initiatives, M&A programs, and special projects
  • Identify opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness, processes, and execution discipline

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 7+ years of experience in a Chief of Staff, strategy, operations, consulting, or similar role
  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills
  • Ability to synthesize inputs and develop clear, executive-level materials
  • Experience working with global teams in a matrixed organization
  • Strong process orientation with ability to establish structure and governance
  • Experience supporting strategy, transformation, or M&A initiatives preferred
  • PMP or equivalent certification a plus
