PART-TIME OMNIBUS OPERATOR

The Borough of Edgewater is currently seeking qualified and dependable candidates for the position of Part-Time Omnibus Operator. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in serving their local community while working in a flexible, part-time capacity.

Applicants must possess a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL), with a minimum Class C designation and a passenger endorsement. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service, as this role involves transporting passengers in a courteous and professional manner throughout the Borough.

The starting pay rate is $22.00 per hour, along with eligibility for earned sick leave and vacation time. Work schedules may vary based on operational needs, and candidates should be prepared for a dynamic, community-focused role.

All selected candidates will be required to successfully complete a comprehensive pre-employment process, which includes a physical examination, drug and alcohol screening, and a criminal background check.
