Bus Drivers - CDL & Non - CDL

Byram Township School District is seeking reliable and safety-focused Bus and Van Drivers to transport students in a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment. Candidates will work under the direction of the Transportation Coordinator and are responsible for maintaining proper student conduct and adhering to all safety regulations.

Salary: $35.00 per hour

Start Date: Immediate openings available

Qualifications:

High School Diploma required
Valid New Jersey School Bus Drivers License (appropriate class) preferred
Passenger, School Bus, and Air Brake endorsements

CDL preferred but not required

The district is willing to support qualified candidates in obtaining their CDL
Criminal History Background Check required

Responsibilities:

Safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities
Maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning vehicle
Enforce rules and ensure appropriate student behavior on the bus
Perform duties as assigned by the Transportation Coordinator
Complete all state mandated trainings
