Parts Assistant - Centennial Subaru

In this role, you will assist with daily Parts Department operations, including inventory organization, receiving and stocking parts, processing orders, and supporting both internal and external customers. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a commitment to providing timely and accurate service. By helping maintain efficient department operations and delivering exceptional customer support, you will play an important role in ensuring customer satisfaction and department success.

Job Responsibilities



  • Help operate a profitable, safe, and efficient state-of-the-art parts department.
  • Assist with inventory, ensuring that the correct amount of parts are in stock.
  • Conduct duties to assist shipping and receiving, including placing parts in inventory; entering parts into the database, and monitoring inventory levels.
  • Conduct inventory counts, organize parts, parts shop cleanliness, and customer service (including answering customer calls when needed).
  • Provide exceptional service to customers. Solve customer problems. Track customer satisfaction.
  • Work productively and safely.


Requirements



  • High school diploma or equivalent; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Is legally able to work in the United States
  • Must have a driver's license and maintain insurability
  • Pre-employment drug screen
  • Previous cashier and money handling experience required.
  • Automotive dealership or automotive industry experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to accurately process payments and maintain cash-handling procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with the Parts and Service Departments.
