Description St. Andrews VillageService/Maintenance Support For a limited time MaineHealth is offering up to $5,000 sign on for Cooks! Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time Cook position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment. St. Andrews Village Retirement Community - Boothbay Harbor, Maine is searching for a Cook! The Cook role is vital in maintaining the health and well-being of patients, families, and employees at the hospital. Responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of meals according to established recipes, understanding food hygiene practices and safety regulations, and working effectively in a team-oriented environment. Summary: This position consists of 36 hours per week, evening shifts. The Cook role is responsible for preparation of foods for patients, guests, residents, and employees. Assures the facility's cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance of equipment and supplies.Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
