Description MaineHealth Behavioral HealthManagement/Leadership Summary: The Senior Director for Quality and Safety forMaineHealthBehavioral Health will coordinate and lead organization-wide efforts to improve clinical quality, patient safety, patient experience, regulatory compliance, and external quality reporting. Scope of responsibility includes services providedacross MaineHealth Behavioral Healthinpatient, ambulatory, and community settings.* * In collaboration with theBehavioral Healthsenior leadership team, the Senior Director for Quality and Safety will coordinate and lead organization-wide efforts to: ensure that the quality of clinical care meets evidence-based guidelines and best practices, improve systems of care delivery to eliminate preventable harm, measure and improve patient experience, ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, support internal and external performance measurement and reporting, appropriately handle patient complaints and grievances, and foster a culture of continuous performance improvement across the organization. * * The Senior Director for Quality and Safety will supervise a team of qualified professionals responsible for helping the organization achieve quality and safety related annual goals and objectives. Other responsibilities include collaborating with relevant stakeholdersacross the MaineHealth systemin planning and decision-making related to quality and safety.
