Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Requirements:

• Previous accounting clerk, accounts payable, or bookkeeping experience required
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and invoice reconciliation
• Experience with job costing and project expense tracking
• Proficiency with QuickBooks required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting software
• Experience in construction, contracting, or a related industry is a plus

Job Duties:

• Process, verify, and reconcile vendor invoices and accounts payable transactions
• Track and allocate costs to specific jobs and projects
• Maintain accurate financial records and data within QuickBooks
• Reconcile vendor statements, accounts payable accounts, and job cost reports
• Monitor and categorize project-related expenses
• Assist with financial reporting, job cost analysis, and AP summaries
• Communicate with vendors, contractors, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies
• Support daily accounting operations and maintain organized financial documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
