Tesla Motors is looking for an experienced Service Advisor to work on one of the most progressive vehicle brands in the world, spearheading growth in the Semi Service team. This position requires high-level customer and employee interaction, so the ideal candidate will not only possess the technical acumen, but also the ability to provide a strong level of communication and service. What You'll Do
  • Communicate with the customer in a timely and professional manner, driving a high-level experience that our customers have come to expect
  • Work with stakeholders to schedule service appointments, maintenance checks and general repairs, as needed
  • Prepare for service appointments to ensure the customer's service experience is fast and accurate
  • Recommend and advise the customer on repairs needed based on technical findings
  • Perform general vehicle inspections and appointment check-in. Make sound decisions concerning the prioritization of service and collaborate with parts to ensure necessary components are allocated for service appointments
  • Proactively track and schedule Service Campaigns and Preventative Maintenance Coordinate with service technicians and customers to gather necessary information for warranty claims and process warranty claims ensuring timely response to customers
  • Assist in the shop as needed and perform any other tasks as needed or directed by supervisory and/or management staff

What You'll Bring
  • Knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools and materials used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles
  • Understanding of basic automotive techniques related to repair and servicing of automobiles and/or heavy-duty repair
  • Willingness to learn new and innovative automotive/ heavy duty technologies
  • Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Must be willing to obtain a CDL Class A/B
  • Commercial trucking experience a plus
Expected Compensation
$22.80 - $54.72/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
