Join Allied Universal at a healthcare location as an armed officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support patients, visitors, and staff while embodying a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team culture built on teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas while documenting observations, reporting concerns, and following post orders and/or site instructions.
• Support access control activities by verifying credentials, assisting with visitor processing, and communicating professionally with staff and guests regarding location protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid are preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
