As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Coordinator in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will contribute to daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while helping people come first throughout the location.

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report policy violations, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious behavior according to post instructions.
• Support daily operations by completing logs, incident reports, and shift pass-down communication while following Allied Universal standards and client site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
