Tesla'sCellManufacturingEngineeringteamis lookingforhighlymotivatedManufacturingEngineering Techniciansfor an exciting new project.This role will beinvolved in commissioningequipment anddevelopingprocessesfor cell manufacturing.The battery cell is a criticalcomponentin Tesla vehicles and storage systems. This role will have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to our products.The work environment is demanding, fast-paced,and incredibly exciting.The ideal candidate should be ready to push their limits, as they joinahighly motivated and capableteam.
What You'll Do
- Support development, commissioning, and ramp of cell manufacturing equipment, from lab-scale to high-speed automated tools
- Perform equipment setup, operation, adjustments, and maintenance to meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards
- Design, fabricate, and deploy fixtures for equipment operation
- Execute process development DOE trials. Debug andoptimizeprocesses to reduce cycle times and maximize OEE
- Conduct analytical tests, record and interpret data, andparticipatein supplier and internal FAT/SAT activities
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and Process Engineers and suppliers toidentifyissues and drive engineering improvements
- Troubleshoot complex issues using PLC, HMI, and tool management software while supporting operations during extended downtime
- Develop operating procedures, training materials, maintenance routines, and equipment documentation
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years of hands-on operational and technical experience with mechatronics or electromechanical systems in a highly automated manufacturing environment
- Experience with Li-ion cell design, manufacturing, and testing
- Strong knowledge of root cause analysis, high and low voltage systems, and electrical safety practices
- Proficient in metal working, fabrication tools, hand/power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment
- Ability to perform hands-on assembly, disassembly, and inspections with good manual dexterity and ability tolift upto 20 pounds
- Strongproficiencyin MS Word, Excel, and other business systems to manage and interpret technical data
- Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with availability for domestic and international travel

Expected Compensation
$28.80 - $56.40/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
