We're seeking an experienced Accountant to join the finance team of a stable and growing precision manufacturing company in Enfield, CT. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key accounting functions while contributing to a collaborative team in a specialized manufacturing environment. Position Responsibilities include: Manage the full accounts payable process, including invoice processing, coding, and timely vendor payments Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll while maintaining payroll records and reporting Reconcile bank accounts and investigate discrepancies Review and maintain employee labor hours to ensure accurate labor costing Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and assist with month-end close Support annual audits by preparing schedules and required documentation Monitor manufacturing costs, labor costs, inventory transactions, and overhead allocations Assist with maintaining standard costing, BOMs, and production reporting Perform additional accounting and finance responsibilities as needed Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent professional accounting experience 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment Experience processing payroll from start to finish Hands-on cost accounting experience, including labor costing and manufacturing cost analysis Familiarity with inventory accounting, standard costing, BOMs, and production reporting Experience with ERP systems (Infor Syteline is a plus) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong analytical abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality #LI-MB1 The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role.
