Employment: Temp to Direct (3 months)

Compensation: $ 19.00/ Hour
Schedule: 9/80 hours /week
About the Opportunity:
  • Deliver raw materials, parts, and consumables (fasteners, packaging) to workstations in a just-in-time manner to maintain uninterrupted workflow.

What You'll Do:
  • Remove finished goods and empty containers from workstations and transport them to designated areas to maintain organized and efficient workspaces.
  • Manage and monitor Kanban cards or visual signals to trigger timely material replenishment and maintain inventory levels at workstations.
  • Assist with workstation setup activities, material staging, and quick changeovers to support efficient production cycles and minimize downtime.
  • Stage materials and assist with workstation changeovers to support efficient production transitions and minimize delays.
  • Maintain a consistent pace to ensure workstations are never idle.
  • Report material shortages, damaged materials, safety concerns, or production disruptions to appropriate personnel to ensure timely resolution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or material handling
What Sets You Apart:
  • Working knowledge of production processes and manufacturing, with ability to understand how materials flow through the production environment.
  • Understanding of the entire production, process and, specific, work cells.
  • Organization: Highly organized to manage, multiple, workflows, simultaneously.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and consistent attendance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Lean knowledge (Kanban, 5s, visual management)
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check
  • The associate will frequently be to stand and walk for long periods of time and to occasionally sit, bend, reach, or stoop to perform certain tasks.
  • The associate will frequently be to make coordinated hand and finger movements to grasp and manipulate objects.
  • The associate must frequently lift and move up to 75 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job may include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
