This role is part of Alcon's Information Technology function, a team dedicated to delivering cutting-edge technology solutions that enable our associates and customers to help people and the world see brilliantly. This is an onsite position based out of our Fort Worth, Texas Main Campus.

As a Sr. Principal, Platform Owner you will lead the strategy, development, and execution of digital platform initiatives. In this role, you will drive innovation across platforms, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with evolving business needs.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Ensure platform architecture is scalable, secure, and integrates seamlessly with other systems to meet business needs
  • Drive digital transformation by incorporating cutting-edge technologies and ensuring platforms support operational efficiency and business growth
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align platform solutions with broader organizational objectives
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for platform improvements and enhancements
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Oversee platform integration across business functions, ensuring seamless operation and maximum system effectiveness
  • Lead the strategic direction of platform development, making strategic decisions on platform improvements, emerging technologies, and aligning platform initiatives with business priorities

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs. Assoc.+11 yrs.; M.S.+4 yrs.; PhD+3 yrs.)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • 7 Years of Relevant Experience
