Electrical and Electronics Architecture Tools Engineer

Stellantis
United States, Michigan, Auburn Hills
Jun 29, 2026

The Electrical and Electronics and Architecture Tools Engineer is responsible to transform and converge digital tools, such as Siemens Capital Logic and Interface Control Document, used in the EE Architecture Design process. In addition, this engineer would establish and execute proof of concepts for additional EEAD design tools, such as Siemens Capital E/E Systems module, and make recommendations. Superset architecture inside the PLM environment, managing the topology and physical/functional allocation inside the PLM tool. They will collaborate with ICT, tools suppliers, Domain/Application Architects and Architecture Leads to properly capture the superset and application architecture in Siemens Capital environment and other stakeholders. Work with EE Harness Design, to ensure that physical electrical sub-system requirements allocation are properly assigned to the Interface Control Document (ICD) and the Siemens Capital Logic Environment

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain Architecture process documentation, user guides and training materials for EEAD design and schematic tools and ensure correct allocation of infrastructure requirements to the architecture components/elements

  • Collaborate with Domain Architects and Architecture Leads in defining Physical & Functional Partitioning and Allocation of features and functions in order to meet systems/subsystem design requirements, and seamless date flow into EE Harness Design tool chain (Siemens Capital Integrator)

  • Leverage large EEAD datasets and creatively investigate opportunities to improve engineering efficiency with Stellantis Artificial Intelligence platforms/development teams. Apply familiarity with AI, machine learning, automation, and prompt-based productivity tools to identify high-value use cases that transform the EE Architecture Design team toward broader, more effective adoption of AI-enabled workflows.

  • Partner with EE Architecture stakeholders, ICT, and AI platform teams to pilot AI-assisted methods for architecture analysis, requirements allocation, schematic/toolchain data quality checks, documentation generation, knowledge retrieval, and repeatable engineering process automation.

  • Collaborate with tool suppliers, ICT, Domain/Subsystem/Application Architects and EE Harness Design teams in driving a standardized process for the Subsystem electrical schematics and support the development of any bridge solutions between toolchains/data sources.

  • Create and support reference mechanizations / schematics for subsystem domains when needed

  • Relentlessly drive to early life cycle delivery through an agile approach.

  • Willing to take action and drive results.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of industry experience in EE Architecture design, Electrical Engineering architecture roles or System/Subsystem designs.
  • Knowledge / Experience in Siemens Captial Logic/Interface Control Document/ Harness Integrator
  • Knowledge / Experience in Network Communication Design: CAN, CAN-FD, LIN and Ethernet protocols.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled engineering productivity tools, including practical use of generative AI, prompt engineering, data analytics, automation, or machine learning concepts to improve design processes, documentation quality, and engineering decision support.
  • Knowledge / Experience in wire harness systems design including power distribution.
  • Understanding of typical vehicle EE architectures and end to end automotive development processes.
  • Strong systems thinker.
  • Fluency in English is required; any other European language is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master or PHD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Designed EE platforms or components for Service Oriented Architectures (SOA).
  • Track record experience with the automotive system and harness design tools and requirements management.
  • 8 years of experience in EE Systems or EE Architecture R&D.
  • Exhibits excellent, clear, and detail-oriented written and verbal communications on highly complex topics.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead or influence digital transformation initiatives involving AI, automation, data-driven engineering methods, or adoption of new productivity tools across cross-functional engineering teams.
