The Global Mobility Compliance & Governance - Americas is responsible for the end-to-end governance, compliance, and financial oversight of global mobility programs across North and South America.

This role builds on operational mobility execution and elevates it into a strategic center of excellence, ensuring that all cross-border assignments are delivered with consistency, compliance, financial discipline, and operational readiness.

Serving as a key partner to Finance, Payroll, Corporate Tax, and external vendors, this role enables the organization to deploy talent globally with confidence while mitigating risk and optimizing cost and employee experience.

Key Responsibilities



  • Tax, Compensation & Regulatory Compliance

    • Global Payroll Readiness & Corridor Governance: Serves as the gatekeeper for entity setup and cross-border corridors. Establishes the operational "readiness framework" for any new or existing sending or receiving country in the geographical region, validating local payroll capabilities, securing tax vendor alignment, and establishing local HR reporting workflows prior to move initiation to prevent compliance failures.
    • Financial Modeling: Establishes the logic for assignment cost estimates and partners with Finance to ensure information is available for budgeting and cross-charge purposes. Ensures that Cost Allocation Agreements are in place for all assignments in their geographic perimeter and proactively partners with Corporate Tax to identify and mitigate Permanent Establishment (PE) corporate tax risks.
    • Tax Equalization (TEQ): Governs the TEQ policy architecture, TEQ process, tax authorizations and framework. Directs external tax vendors and instructs local HR/ HR SSC and payroll teams to ensure compliance.
    • Equity & Bonus Mobile Lead: Acts as the focal point for Corporate Compensation. Supports corporate compliance ecosystem for mobile populations equity and bonus structures. Partners with Corporate Compensation and external tax providers to ensure proper tracking and cross-border income and social tax withholding.




  • Predictive Audit & Data Analytics

    • Global Benefits & Vendor Audit Automation: Centralizes the audit framework for international benefits (Healthcare, Tax, Relocation) and vendor spend. Focuses on ensuring strict vendor SLA adherence.
    • Predictive Analysis & System Integrity: Architects the global mobility data strategy. Designs automated reporting engines and exception-tracking matrices to provide executive leadership with predictive talent and spend analytics. Leads the exploration of AI tools to enhance system integrations and employee experience




Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in global mobility, international HR, tax, or related field
  • Strong expertise in global mobility principles, including tax, immigration, payroll, and relocation
  • Proven experience managing complex vendor ecosystems and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, including cost modeling and budgeting
