PharmD Fellow, Global Medical Strategy

Hybrid / Full-Time (1-Year Fellowship) / Chesterbrook, PA or Portsmouth, NH

At Novocure, we're working to extend the lives of patients battling some of the most aggressive cancers. As a PharmD Fellow, Global Medical Strategy, you'll play a meaningful role in supporting scientific communications, medical strategy, and cross-functional initiatives that help advance innovative oncology therapies.

This fellowship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across Global Medical Strategy within a fast-growing oncology-focused medical technology company.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a PharmD Fellow, Global Medical Strategy to support scientific exchange, medical communications, and strategic initiatives across our global oncology portfolio. This role provides broad exposure to Medical Affairs while developing expertise in scientific communications, congress planning, medical information, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will partner with teams across Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Commercial, and external partners to support high-impact initiatives that improve patient care and advance Novocure's mission.

This fellowship is offered in collaboration with the Industry Pharmacists Organization (IPhO), providing access to a national network of fellows and professional development opportunities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO




  • Manage global medical information requests and scientific exchange activities.
  • Support medical strategy through scientific content development and congress planning.
  • Build expertise in Novocure clinical data, publications, and research programs.
  • Develop and maintain medical information resources and response materials.
  • Deliver accurate, balanced, and timely scientific information to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create scientific content including slide decks, infographics, congress materials, and educational resources.
  • Partner cross-functionally to execute Medical Affairs initiatives and strategic projects.
  • Support project planning, timelines, budgets, and risk management activities.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and key internal stakeholders.
  • Gain exposure to multiple functional areas within Global Medical Strategy.
  • Participate in IPhO programming and co-lead a National Fellows Council (NFC) committee.



ABOUT YOU

You are a motivated and intellectually curious PharmD graduate who is eager to apply your clinical knowledge in a collaborative, science-driven environment. You enjoy communicating complex scientific information, working across teams, and contributing to initiatives that ultimately improve outcomes for patients.

You bring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications:




  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated leadership through academic, professional, or extracurricular activities.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to effectively communicate scientific and clinical information.
  • Ability to commute to or reside near Chesterbrook, PA or Portsmouth, NH.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, including occasional weekends.



Preferred Qualifications:




  • Prior internship or rotation within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or medical device industry.
  • Experience supporting scientific communications or Medical Affairs initiatives.
  • Interest in oncology and medical strategy.
  • Experience working on cross-functional or team-based projects.

FELLOWSHIP DETAILS



  • 1-year fellowship in partnership with IPhO
  • Salary of $80,000
  • Start date: Summer 2026
