As a Front Desk Officer in a healthcare location, you will be the welcoming first point of contact, supporting access control, monitoring alarms, and handling security-related concerns with professionalism and care. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Monitor front desk activity, greet visitors, and help manage access in accordance with site policies and visitor protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
• Answer questions, provide directions, and document routine activities, incidents, and/or unusual observations in required reports.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and support a professional atmosphere through a visible front desk presence and consistent application of post procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
