Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer Department: MERC College/Division: Mercer Engineering Research Center Primary Job Posting Location: Warner Robins, GA 31088-7810 Job Details: Mercer Engineering Research Center (MERC) is recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer to support its Electronic Warfare and Avionics area. This is a full time, on-site position located in Warner Robins, GA. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Responsible for leading, designing, and performing detailed engineering efforts in the assigned discipline, including but not limited to providing leadership and participating with a technical team in the conduct of the following tasks:
* Responsible for organizing, conducting, and achieving detailed cross-functional engineering communication, design, evaluation, and implementations providing novel and unique functionality and capability through multi-disciplined engineering applications through:
* Responsible for leading technical teams in their technical interface with present and perspective customers through the following activities:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * US Citizenship is required. * Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance. * A Ph.D. in a relevant engineering field (e.g., EE, ME, AE, IE, SW, CE, Computer Science, etc.) from an ABET accredited institution and 3 years of directly related experience; or a Master's degree in same and 8 years of directly related experience; or an undergraduate degree in same and 9 years of directly related experience. * 3 years of technical lead responsibility. * Additional requirements may be added as appropriate and as specified in the specific Personnel Requisition Form. Final rank will be determined on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
