Overview:
At Omni Hotels & Resorts, every moment is an opportunity to create lasting memories. As a Recreation Supervisor, you will inspire and lead a team of attendants in delivering exceptional guest experiences across our pools, cabanas, and recreation areas. You will set the tone for service excellence, ensuring that our luxury standards are upheld through polished operations, engaging activities, and a safe, welcoming environment for guests of all ages.
Responsibilities:
* Supervise, coach, and motivate Recreation Attendants to deliver warm, anticipatory, and personalized service.
* Oversee daily recreation operations, including pool facilities, cabanas, towel hut, water slides, and activity spaces, ensuring they meet luxury standards.
* Coordinate, schedule, and actively support seasonal programs, curated guest activities, and signature resort events.
* Ensure all recreation facilities are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness, safety, and presentation.
* Anticipate guest needs and resolve service concerns promptly with professionalism and discretion.
* Conduct regular inspections of recreation areas, equipment, and supplies; report and address maintenance or safety issues immediately.
* Train new team members in service standards, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
* Manage towel, equipment, and supply inventories, ensuring stock is maintained and properly distributed.
* Enforce recreation guidelines and pool safety standards with consistency, diplomacy, and guest care.
* Support scheduling, task delegation, and communication between team members and management.
* Foster a positive and engaged work environment by promoting teamwork, accountability, and service excellence.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 1-2 years of hospitality, recreation, or guest-service experience; prior supervisory experience preferred.
* Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
* Ability to train, motivate, and hold team members accountable while fostering a positive work culture.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid certification.
* Highly organized and detail-oriented; capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
* Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
