Overview
As a member of the Utilization Management team, provides concurrent and retrospective clinical review of inpatient/observation medical records to evaluate the utilization of acute care services. The goal of concurrent review includes facilitation of appropriate physician documentation that accurately reflects the patient's severity of illness and intensity of service. Team members will also provide payers with requested information regarding the patient stay in a timely manner, to facilitate payment for services rendered Qualifications Educational Requirements

Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $35.87per hour - $58.37per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
