- The Electrification & Automation (E&A) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels.
- We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing in our Future Grids portfolio to create the power distribution grid of the future.
- As a Mechanical Assembler you will be responsible for the building, assembling, and wiring of Medium and Low Voltage Electrical Distribution Equipment, such as LV Motor Control Centers, MV breakers, MV switchgear and Motor Control Centers, DC Electrical Vehicle Chargers and Solar Inverters.

What You'll Do:
- Assembly and wire LV MCC breakers, structures, sub-assemblies, parts kits, and aftermarket parts orders.
- Perform Sub assembly work including mechanical assembly of steel and components, control wiring, power cable work, and interconnection of control wires.
- Record appropriate job record transactions.
- Read BOM, follow layouts & assembly drawings.
- Perform some basic wiring per given instructions when requested.
- Set and correct use of Torque wrenches.
- Adhere to developed processes, methods and seek ways to improve.
- Adhere to all safety rules and keep safety first for self and others.
- Perform miscellaneous other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of experience in control wiring, power cable installation, and using torque wrenches.
What Sets You Apart:
- 1+ years of experience performing mechanical assembly or mechanical field.
- Communicate in English (read, write & speak fluently).
- Have a proven record in Quality and Productivity.
- Be a good team player
- Conform with Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety policy and Management System and strive to continual improve the intended outcomes of the Management System.
- Forklift driver experience.
- SAP experience.
- Able to Identify mechanical parts and electrical components.
- Experience working with standard hand and power tools, both pneumatic and battery operated.
- Knowledge of torque wrench and applied torque values.
- Experience with using a tape measure and other measuring devices.
Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
- Able to lift parts or sub-assemblies that weigh up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
