TITLE: Senior Estimator: Hot / Cold Aisle Containment (HAC/ CAC)
LOCATION: Candidate will be assigned to worksite in one of the following locations (depending on candidate residence): IAD, DFW, PHX, ATL
POSITION SUMMARY:Senior Estimator with specialization in both standard and structural HAC / CAC Containment Installation brings a minimum of five (5) years of experience in HAC and modular data systems estimation. This individual serves as a key liaison to Director of Containment and Preconstruction Estimation Team. The Senior Estimator will be responsible for providing cost estimates for conceptual designs and new region expansion projects and develop budgets for new project opportunities in existing regions across a portfolio of fast-paced construction pursuits.

- Estimation for self-performing Installation of hot and cold aisle containment systems, including panels, doors, ceiling structures, and mounting hardware.
- Follow project Request for Proposal documentation instructions to ensure all aspects are accounted for and incorporated.
- Attend site walks as necessary to assist in generating estimates and proposals
- Ability to walk through large scale construction sites as needed and wear full PPE
- Generate estimates for potential projects
- Assist in proposal development
- Work with the Preconstruction Bid Managers to help maintain a database of bid documents for reference upon award of contract
- Attend kickoff meetings to assist in the smooth handoff of the project from bid to execution
- Travel as needed
- Provide oversite of RFI, Site Walk and Submittal processes
- Identify additional opportunities for CPG to generate revenue
- Additional as required
- Manage internal and external relations while on site.
- Utilize tools and templates for various levels of estimates and project types, including risk assessment
- Utilize and manage repository for historical data including cost performance metrics in comparison to estimate
- Analyze and provide timely feedback of vendor proposals using AWS benchmark data
- Validate large or complex changes with regards to cost impacts
- Manage revision control of scope and estimate for new designs and innovations
QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Basic mechanical or construction skills; ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship of containment systems.
- Physically able to lift materials, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
- Previous experience in HAC/CAC Installation, or data center infrastructure installation is a plus
- Must be a US Citizen
Education/Experience:
- High School diploma
- Bachelor's degree in construction Cost Management or Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- 3+ years of data center experience required
- 5+ years of experience in construction estimating/cost control field, with specific knowledge of MEP and ASC cost elements
- Data Center experience a +++plus
- Experience building or expanding estimating or cost control programs across a large organization
- Experience leading and training a team
- Ability to interpret contract terms, conditions, and exhibits as applicable to project requirements
Computer Skills:
- Windows power user skill set, proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Building Connected, Bluebeam, Oracle NetSuite
- Estimation and Scheduling Software such as Trimble/Accubid, Gordian/RSMeans, P6 and MS Schedule
Certificates and Licenses:
- No certificates or licenses required
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- No direct supervisory responsibilities, will have acting role in the absence of the Site Supervisor for the installation of HAC/CAC's effort nationwide.

Travel: This position will require approximately 5-10% travel, depending on project locations and site assessment requirements. Travel will primarily consist of short-duration site visits to evaluate existing conditions and assess the scope of work (SOW) necessary for each deployment. Occasional follow-up visits may also be required to address project-related issues or concerns, provide support to Project Managers and Superintendents, and capture lessons learned to enhance future project planning and execution.
