Position: Research Assistant II Department: Research - Pediatrics Location: Boston, MA Schedule: 40 hours per week, Remote POSITION SUMMARY: The Center for Health Equity, Education, and Research (CHEER) at Boston Medical Center is a world-class center for maternal child health advocacy, training and research. Its mission is to bring about health equity by collaborating with community-based partners and providing technical assistance, training, evaluation, and inspiration. CHEER focuses on underserved populations, with a particular emphasis on maternal child health and nutrition. The Research Assistant II will support the CHAMPS programs. CHAMPS is a hospital-based initiative that promotes evidence-based maternity practices, with the ultimate goal of increasing breastfeeding rates and decreasing racial disparities in breastfeeding. The Research Assistant II will manage the day-to-day tasks of CHAMPS' integrated maternity care team initiative, participate in hospital assessments, and support CHAMPS' staff and community training programs. Other duties include but are not limited to, collaborating with members of the project teams, clinical subject matter experts, vendors, and research staff; assisting with hospital coaching; scheduling project related meetings; coordinating project related virtual and in-person events; entering and updating data and databases; and performing other administrative tasks.
