Research Scholar - West Laboratory

The Laboratory of Dr. Andrew West, Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Cancer Biology is seeking a highly motivated and creative Research Scholar to join our research team.

Minimum Requirements:




  • Min Degree Requirements:Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate (e.g. Sc.D., M.D., D.V.M.).



This position is




  • Onsite. The work is performed on-site or at a designated assignment location.

This position will focus on solving complex -synuclein structures using novel informatic and biochemical approaches, support training and performing biomarker assays related to -synuclein pathologies and Parkinson's disease, including but not limited to working with human-derived tissues and biofluids, and maintaining rigorous record keep and assembling data into manuscripts, assisting with the development of manuscripts and communications with Sponsor's and other Teams working in the space.
