Job Summary:
Our laboratory in the Department of Pathobiological Sciences focuses on parasitic diseases. We are looking for a Research Specialist to help advance our lab mission to better understand essential behaviors of these complex pathogens at the host interface and to advance human and animal health through new interventions. The overall responsibility of this position will be assisting researchers with laboratory experiments, maintaining biological colonies, and supporting day-to-day laboratory and research operations under moderate supervision. This role involves contributing to ongoing research projects through data collection, record keeping, and adherence to established protocols, while ensuring a well-organized and efficient laboratory environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently are essential. Organization and attention to detail are imperative skills for success in this position.
