Position Overview

We're looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join our supply chain operations team on a contract basis. You'll be hands-on in developing and executing forecasting processes, managing inventory and replenishment activities, and supporting process improvement across our supply chain function. This role is integral to designing new logistics channels, building decision support tools, and identifying cost/service tradeoffs that drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities


Process Development and Planning

*Participate in developing new forecasting, order replenishment, and logistics channel decision processes

*Support central replenishment activities including development of new forecasting tools and inventory forecasting strategies

*Partner with merchandising teams on planning for promotions, price changes, and exit strategies


Operations and Reporting

*Create and maintain multiple reports and dashboards to track key metrics

*Manage day-to-day replenishment activities and answer replenishment questions from store and distribution teams

*Track and report on all key inventory metrics; follow up on variances


Analysis and Tools

*Develop decision support tools and financial models to analyze inventory cost/benefit tradeoffs

*Analyze multi-tier distribution channels to determine cost and service level tradeoffs across product categories

*Develop forecasting tools to support collaborative planning with suppliers

*Conduct day-to-day business analysis supporting supply chain managers


Process Improvement and Stakeholder Management

*Manage process improvement projects within supply chain; identify stakeholders, owners, and resources needed

*Educate and influence key supply chain stakeholders on benefits of new processes

*Analyze and gather supply chain best practices

*Develop strategies to support supply chain business case development

Required Skills and Experience


Must Haves

*1-3 years of supply chain, operations, or related experience

*Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, pivot tables, formulas)

*College degree (supply chain or business focused preferred but not required)

*One position requires Tableau and Google BigQuery experience; the other Excel proficiency is sufficient


Nice to Haves

*Supply chain or operations background

*Experience with forecasting or demand planning

*Familiarity with distribution center operations or inventory management


Tools

*Excel (all candidates)

*Tableau (required for one opening, optional for the other)

*Google BigQuery (required for one opening, optional for the other)
