Summary Palmetto GBA is one of the nation's largest providers of high-volume claims and transaction processing, contact center operations, and technical services to the federal government and other commercial customers. Our core business is providing services to CMS Medicare beneficiaries, providers, and health plans. Palmetto GBA is one of the few Medicare contractors with experience in all Medicare business segments - Medicare Part A, Medicare Part B, Durable Medical Equipment (DME), Home Health and Hospice (HHH), and Medicare Advantage (MA) Part C and Part D. Position Purpose:

Assists management in meeting contractual performance, budget and reporting requirements for one or more of the area's contracts. Responsible for the development and ongoing management. Develops the program budget and staffing requirements and ensures the program meets its stated objectives.

This position will be responsible for working with Medicare / federal government regulations and must have the ability to adapt to changing requirements.

What You Will Do:

  • Manages and reviews project management activities that include development of project schedules, resource allocations, etc. Manages the workflow management system as it relates to document control, imaging, and bid evaluation.
  • Ensures contract compliance with applicable laws and regulation. Works closely with management in meeting contractual obligations.
  • Coordinates and maintains effective working relationships with external entities.
  • Assists management with the accurate and timely submission of reports and the processing of bid applications, to include development of processing and quality assurance guidelines.
  • Provides technical and administrative direction.
  • Selects, develops, motivates, compensates and deploys assigned staff.

To Qualify For This Position, You Will Need:
Required Education:

  • Bachelor's (Equivalency not applicable for the Celerian Group. Bachelor's degree required.)

Required Work Experience:

  • 5 years of related insurance experience including 1 year of supervisory experience or equivalent military experience in grade E4 or above.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge and expertise with developing, monitoring and overseeing budgetary responsibilities.
  • Ability to ensure expenditures are cost-effective and justified within budget.
  • Knowledge/understanding of government contracts, rules, regulations, and overall operations.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem solving skills.
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills.

Required Software and Tools:

Microsoft Office.

We Prefer That You Have:

  • Technical writing experience
  • Medicare and federal government contract experience
  • Management experience
  • Leadership experience of programs
  • Project Management experience
  • PMP certification preferred

Work Environment: Typical office environment.
