Role Overview

This is a contract role supporting day-to-day eCommerce product photography production. You'll keep shoots running on schedule, coordinate products to be photographed on the right timelines, and connect teams so nothing falls through the cracks. You're comfortable managing high volume and lots of moving pieces, solving problems on the fly, and communicating clearly across teams with different priorities.

What You'll Do

Managing the Photo Production Pipeline

  • Oversee the daily flow of product photography from sample arrival through final shot delivery, keeping everything on track and on schedule
  • Plan and schedule photo shoots in partnership with Production and Creative teams, making sure products, talent, and resources are ready to go
  • Organize and prioritize which products get photographed and when, based on business needs
  • Manage reshoots and image correction requests, making sure issues are resolved quickly and escalated when needed
  • Maintain and update the internal guide that outlines how different products should be photographed
  • Keep stakeholders informed on shoot status, flag roadblocks early, and drive resolutions before delays happen
  • Working Across Teams
  • Serve as the main point of contact between the photo team and partners in merchandising, digital, marketing, and post-production
  • Make sure finished images are delivered to the right teams on time and meet quality standards
  • Help align day-to-day photo priorities with broader business and marketing goals
  • Coordinate across the tools and systems used to track photos and manage production (e.g., project management and asset tracking software)

Tracking and Improving Workflows

  • Maintain production reports and tracking tools to give teams visibility into where things stand
  • Oversee the process for getting product images live on the website, making sure assets are accurate and published on time
  • Spot inefficiencies in current workflows and bring forward ideas to improve how work gets done
  • Support seasonal planning and help the team prepare for high-volume periods

What We're Looking For

Experience

  • 4+ years in photo production, project coordination, or eCommerce operations
  • Experience managing studio or on-figure photography workflows
  • Background working with creative, marketing, or retail teams

Skills & Strengths

  • Familiarity with product photography, studio production, or eCommerce content operations
  • Comfortable working in project management and asset tracking tools
  • Clear communicator who works effectively with creative, business, and operational teams
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, especially in fast-moving, high-volume environments
  • Proactive problem-solver who takes ownership and follows through
