Job Description




As a Security Guard Patrol Driver with TWIC in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify potential hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and control visitor and vehicle access in accordance with location policies and security-related procedures.
  • Support emergency and operational response efforts by following post orders, reporting spills, leaks, or other abnormal conditions, and assisting with evacuations and/or restricted area control when directed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A TSA issued TWIC is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
